Syrian artist turns humans into animals

Everyone has heard the expression ‘don’t be a sheep’, which essentially can be translated into ‘don’t be a follower.’ It was this herd-like mentality that captured the attention of Syrian artist Mohammad Abbas whose recently opened exhibition Are We Not Human? suggests that humans are becoming more and more like animals every day.

‘People today are being transformed into animals,’ Abbas told Al Bawaba. ‘They are filled with fear and anxiety. I am searching for the reasons behind this metamorphosis.’
