Shadowlife tours Bendigo Art Gallery

Over 30 works by nine Aboriginal artists and one non-Indigenous collaborator that have toured Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore come to Bendigo Art Gallery from April 13 to July 28 in the Shadowlife exhibition of installations and still and moving images. Vernon Ah Kee, Bindi Cole, Brenda L Croft, Destiny Deacon & Virginia Fraser, Fiona Foley, Gary Lee, Michael Riley, Ivan Sen and Christian Thompson were chosen by exhibition partners Asialink and Bendigo Art Gallery to help develop a deeper understanding of contemporary Australian art and appreciate more the multiplicities of indigenous culture in Australia.
