A new alliance of senior arts educators wants politicians from all parties to make creative arts education a national priority.

The newly formed Australian Council of Deans and Directors of Creative Arts (ACDDCA) is calling on federal politicians to urgently support increased funding to the tertiary arts sector. Inaugural president Professor Su Baker from the Victorian College of the Arts at The University of Melbourne wants creative arts education to be a national priority.
