Personal Structures: Time, Place, Existence, an international project running in conjunction with the 55th Venice Biennale, will feature Australian artists Sam Jinks and Yhonnie Scarce in its 2013 exhibition.

The Personal Structures series of exhibitions and symposiums began in 2002 under the guidance of Dutch artist Rita Rietmeyer. The project’s relationship with the Venice Biennale was instituted in 2009. The projects explore the universal themes of time, place and existence through the work of international artists, and act as an open forum for the discussion of these widespread ideas using the artists’ most recent pieces.
