‘Poorest funding round in history’: Sector leaders call Create NSW to account

In the wake of what is being described as the poorest funding round in Australia’s history, the sector asks why.

This week NAVA – the National Association for the Visual Arts – has been joined by 60 arts organisations across Australia, in an open letter that has exposed the crisis that NSW faces with regard to funding arts programming.

The letter is in response to  the shock announcement that Round 2 of the Create NSW Arts & Cultural Projects fund had a success rate of 2.7%, among the lowest in Australian history.
