Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking performing arts mentors for vulnerable teenagers in Victoria.

If you have experience in hip hop, drama or the performing arts and can spare an hour or two a week, you might be just what the youth of the outer south east of Melbourne need.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, a not-for-profit organisation running youth mentoring services for vulnerable young people aged seven to 25 years, is looking for volunteers to conduct a weekly performing arts session for its Mentoring in the ’Hood program. Sessions will be run out of a secondary school in the City of Casey, the Cardinia Shire and City of Frankston, and will help ‘at risk’ or disengaged young people in the area to ‘connect’ and to develop their confidence.
