Orgs angry over handling of Arts Vic funding

Does political interference account for the odd timing of the long-awaited Organisations Investment Program recipients?

Many Victorian arts organisations had reason to celebrate this week as 88 arts and cultural organisations received $26 million in the first year of funding through the Organisations Investment Program (OIP).

But instead the sector was rife with dissatisfaction at the way the long-awaited announcement occurred: a month late and at 11am on Sunday.
