Opportunities and Awards Wrap: Dobell Drawing prize winner and Gallipoli prize finalists

Artist EOIs open for City of Ryde Art Register, winner of Dobell Drawing Prize #22 announced, Gallipoli Art Prize finalists revealed plus more.

There are a variety of opportunities for visual artists this week, kicking off with creatives who want to develop their artistic capacities and skills through the Anne and Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarships. Each scholarship covers institutional fees for one academic year and costs for twelve months overseas including a US $50,000 tax free allowance, airfares, and travel and medical insurance. Applications close 30 June 2021.

As Australia’s largest regional arts gathering for over two decades, Artlands is a strategic exchange that responds to emerging trends, discovers new ideas, considers adapted approaches and showcases artists as well as highlighting the creative and cultural sector across regional, rural and remote Australia.

Artlands is calling for expressions of interest from speakers for its 2021 papers and presentations. Opportunities are open to those who can respond or reflect on multi-discipline art practice across regional, rural or remote Australia or within the Asia-Pacific or globally.   Applications close Monday, 19 April 2021.
