National Cultural Policy launch date announced

The Office of the Arts has revealed that the arts industry will have its long awaited National Cultural Policy, after lengthy delay and doubt surrounding if it would be released at all before the 2013 election.

Minister for the Arts Simon Crean will launch the policy on 13 March at the National Press Club in Canberra. ArtsHub has been told the long delay was due to negotiations over the associated budget, which has now been allocated.
