Tasmanian artist Nik Lee has won the Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award, worth $10,000.

Lee took out the competition with his screen-based digital portrait entitled Our only concern is the void. Gillian Raymond, the award judge and Gallery online manager, says that Nik had captured a hypnotising moment of human condition during their struggle to understand their own belonging.
