The Gold Coast Film Festival (GCFF) will present film buffs with 10 days of celluloid to tickle their cinematic senses when it takes place at the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre next month. Now in its 11th year, GCFF will present a suite of 28 films including 15 Australian premieres and six Queensland premieres.
Fans of sci-fi, fantasy, pop culture, horror, anime and cosplaying will be most excited about the films selected, with many films selected looking set to become cult classics in their respective genres. Those who prefer world cinema will be delighted by the program focusing on Turkish film, while fans of Australiana will also have something to satisfy their Vegemite-accustomed taste buds.
