For the first time in its 125-year history, Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is bringing its 120-piece outfit to Australian shores.

The tour is part of the
international World Orchestra Series which has previously featured the
London Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic
variously visiting Perth, Brisbane and Sydney. But with the newly
refurbished Hamer Hall, this is the first time the Arts Centre Melbourne
will be included in the tour.
