City of Melbourne Grants go to the Dark Side

67 artists and arts organisations to share over $848,000 to fund projects that include lost dance, spoken word and Star Wars.

Over the next 12 months, Melbourne will see visual,  digital and live art, contemporary music, theatre, circus, literature and dance as a result of the 2014 Annual Arts Grants Program, of which more than 60% will be delivered free to the public. 

It is part of a win-fall shared between 67 artists and organisations, some $848,000 that will see the realisation of their projects.
