Television writer Kristen Dunphy has been named recipient of the much coveted 2012 Foxtel Fellowship, presented by the Australian Writers’ Foundation at Sydney’s star-studded 45th Annual AWGIE Awards last Friday.

Writers seldom find themselves richer but, thanks to the sponsorship of Foxtel, Kristen has reason to smile, with the Fellowship awarding $25,000 to a writer who has created a script that is impressive in its craft, scope and impact.
