Aboriginal artists database to start in New England

A shout out to Aboriginal artists living and creating in the New England North West to be a part of a database of Aboriginal artists.

You have to know what you’ve got to know what you want. That’s why Aboriginal Arts Officer at Arts North West Lorrayne Riggs is asking for Aboriginal artists living and creating in the New England North West to let her know that they want to be a part of a database of Aboriginal artists in the region. “By gaining a better idea of current arts practice we will be better able to develop an Aboriginal arts and culture development strategy for the region,” Ms Riggs explained.
