An upcoming auction at Shapiro brings together two collections of design greats.

It’s rare in private homes that, everywhere you turn, you practically stumble across a design icon in furniture or homeware. And it’s even rarer to find the iconic contents of not one, but two, such homes put on the auction market at the same time.

On 30 July, Shapiro Auctions in Sydney will be putting 302 lots of 20th century original art and design pieces under the hammer in what Managing Director Andrew Shapiro describes as a ‘pretty interesting sale, a mix of two collections.’
