$1 million grant to aid art music graduates

A new partnership between the Australian National Academy of Music and The Ian Potter Cultural Trust will support ANAM alumni forging independent careers.

Responding to the financial constraints facing classically-trained independent Australian musicians, a series of $100,000 fellowships will be awarded to Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) alumni between 2024 and 2028.

The new fellowships, supported by a $1 million grant from The Ian Potter Cultural Trust, will offer musicians financial security and support over a two-year period.
