Melbourne’s City of Maribyrnong has unveiled the concept designs for a new creative precinct in Footscray. The proposal includes plans for a new 500-seat theatre, library and town park, named Creative West.
An additional studio space provides room for rehearsals, lessons and more intimate shows. It’s hoped that between the main theatre and the smaller studio, Creative West will be able to host both emerging and established artists.
