As this strange year draws to a close, it’s time for us to take a short break before returning recharged and raring to go in 2021.
When 2020 began, wreathed in smoke and flames, surely none of us could have predicted what was yet to come. Now, as 2020 draws to a close, the ArtsHub team would like to thank you for your company throughout this truly extraordinary year.
It’s been a year in which our small team strove to document the impact of COVID-19 on our sector while at the same time diversifying our offerings through a monthly podcast, The ArtsHubbub; the Artists Essential Toolkit video series, designed to help you make that all-important pivot into the digital world and our Recovery Roadmap Webinars (produced in partnership with Creative Victoria, as were the Toolkit videos) and most recently, our digital conference, Visions 2020.
Whether you’re a dedicated reader of ArtsHub, or dip in and out of our offerings as needed, we’d like to thank you for your support and company this year.
In the words of our CEO, Sol Wise, ‘In a year of searching for the predictable and the constant, it is the resilience and strength of the arts and cultural community which has helped us through. We want to thank the community for sticking with ArtsHub through the year and I want to assure you that our team will double down on delivering timely and accurate content to help us all navigate what we all wish for in 2021, while hoping that it is also a year of recovery and prosperity for all. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and festive season, and a safe and prosperous New Year.’
Please note that the ArtsHub office closes at 1pm on Thursday 24 December and reopens at 9am on Monday 4 January.
Our first e-newsletter for the year will be published on Wednesday 6 January 2021, returning to the regular Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule thereafter.
Please contact Danni Petkovic to inquire about advertising on ArtsHub in 2021.
The compliments of the season from all of us. Please stay safe over the break, and may your 2021 be brighter, happier and more creative.
