Brad Spolding is delighted to be appointed the next Director of The Substation

Spolding said: ‘The Substation is an incredible venue and at an exciting point in its history. Outgoing Director Jeremy Gaden has done an amazing job over the last five years to establish the building as a resource for artists and as a place for new audiences in Melbourne’s west. I am looking forward to the challenge of building on his work and creating a centre for contemporary arts which delivers cultural experiences that respond to The Substation’s unique architecture, history, its place in Melbourne, Australia and the world.
