We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Events and Activations Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all functions, events, and bar operations across the HOTA precinct.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Lead the food and beverage strategy across HOTA events, activations and functions.

• Embed Culinary Arts into event planning from concept through delivery.

Commercial Performance

• Drive revenue growth and profitability.

• Develop commercial food and beverage offerings.

• Forecast revenue and prepare business cases.

Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop operational leaders.

• Build a high-performing event operations team.

• Establish systems and standards.

 Stakeholder Management

• Work collaboratively with Programming, Sales & Events and external partners.

• Ensure seamless delivery across major events.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Enjoy working in fast-paced event environments where every week is different.

• Are equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves during event delivery.

• Have led hospitality or event operations across festivals, entertainment venues, convention centres, stadiums or premium hospitality environments.

• Are commercially minded and enjoy improving profitability without compromising guest experience.

• Naturally build strong relationships across multiple departments.

• Enjoy mentoring leaders and creating high-performing teams.

• Remain calm under pressure and can confidently manage competing priorities.
