What Jessica Bridgfoot has planned for Bendigo

Announced as incoming Director of Bendigo Art Gallery, Jessica Bridgfoot has a clear vision for growing the gallery, despite her frightening start with the gallery.

As a teenager Jessica Bridgfoot remembers being ‘simultaneously seduced and terrified’ by a John Brack painting hanging at Bendigo Art Gallery.  

This week she may hold a different view on the painting, having been named incoming Director of the Gallery. A local to Bendigo she said the gallery was pivotal to growing up in regional Victoria.
