Young Aboriginals make art to make change

Young Aboriginal artists from Western Sydney and Western NSW have been working on a state-wide arts and health project called Make Art to Make Change.

Young Aboriginal artists from Western Sydney and Western NSW have been working with professional mentors on a state-wide arts and health project called Make Art to Make Change managed by the Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) in Parramatta with project partners Arts NSW, Health NSW and Gadigal Information Service, the operators of Koori Radio 93.7FM. The project aims to creatively raising awareness of drug and alcohol issues by providing education about the issues among Aboriginal youth in New South Wales. It marks the first time ICE has extended its programs’ reach into regional NSW.
