Will Sydney see a floating Sphinx in 2015?

Verdi’s Egyptian opera Aida has been announced as the next instalment in the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour program.

Floating pyramids on the harbour or a recreation of the Sphinx could confront visitors to Sydney next year, with the announcement today that Aida will be the next production to be mounted by Opera Australia’s Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour (HOSH) program in 2015.
