Three SA industry bodies collaborate to escalate tourism engagement

Recognising that SA businesses and adjoining industries benefit from festivals and cultural attractions, a new cross-industry alliance with tourism aims to significantly bolster or reimagine cooperation.

It is often bemoaned that a gulf in communication lies between the Tourism sector and the Arts and Culture sector, despite the two being intricately connected.

In a positive move, three industry bodies in South Australia have come together to escalate better co-operation and engagement.

This week Tourism Industry Council SA (TICSA), Arts Industry Council SA (AICSA), and Festivals Adelaide (FA) have have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will underpin their joint work to drive cross-industry collaboration and advance cultural visitation Adelaide, and South Australia more broadly.
