The Lion King returns to Australia

The hugely popular stage version of The Lion King will return to Australia, to play at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre from December 2013.

The stage version of the Disney film The Lion King was a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most popular musicals in history and Australian fans will be delighted with the news that the musical will return to the country in December 2013.

The announcement of the return to the land Down Under was made this week by NSW Minister for Tourism, Major Events and the Arts, George Souris along with the President of Disney Theatrical Productions, Thomas Schumacher.
