The ongoing development of Pier 2/3 in Sydney’s Walsh Bay precinct has taken another step forward, yet the area still faces unique challenges.

 

The NSW government has committed an additional $2 million to help transform the area in into a permanent arts facility. The historic pier is the last in the precinct to be properly upgraded and the money will be allocated to help with planning over the 2013-14 period.
