As part of Japan’s ongoing disaster recovery from the events of 2011, Melbourne’s Polyglot Theatre is set to visit earthquake and tsunami devastated city Minamisanriku in Japan, with a tailor made version of their show We Built This Town.

The project consists of a giant cardboard construction site where children and their families can work together to create tunnels, buildings and towers using thousands of cardboard boxes. Participants are invited to put their creative skills to work to help construct their own cardboard box town.
