New festival rocks inner Melbourne

The Yarra Music Festival launching this July will invigorate live music and will be run by a team of music industry heavyweights.

The last twelve months have been a changing landscape for Melbourne’s live music venues. The closure of CBD institution Pony has made way for newer venues such as Level 2 in Northcote and the reopening of Phoenix Public House as The Jewel of Brunswick. Northcote’s popular High Noon festival was cancelled one month out from event day.
