MUMA appoints new Director

Australian curator Charlotte Day has been appointed as the new Director of Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA) and will take up her post in March.

Ms Day will succeed Max Delany, who recently took up the position of senior curator of contemporary art at the National Gallery of Victoria.

Currently associate curator at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Ms Day will bring extensive experience to the role from across the contemporary art sector in Australia including roles as director of the Centre for Contemporary Photography and assistant director of Gertrude Contemporary.
