Mona first Australian gallery to impose vax

Known for its bold choices, Mona leads Australia in imposing a staff vaccination policy.

David Walsh – founder of Hobart’s iconic Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) – has never been afraid of trailblazing and bold decisions.

In a statement today (2 September) he has made the call to say, ‘I’m going to make vaccination mandatory for staff at Mona’ – making it the first Australian arts venue to impose a vaccination policy.
