In a celebration of Australia’s contemporary performing artists, Malthouse Theatre presents its second independent season.

Five works from Australian independent ensembles will be showcased at the Malthouse’s Tower Theatre this year from 28 June to 5 October, following the success of last year’s Helium season.

Described by the Malthouse as ‘always kooky, very topical, a little but twisted, and utterly contemporary’, Helium is held at an appropriate venue – experimentation and daring are the principle notions behind the Tower as a performance space.
