The upcoming Datascape interactive exhibition at the Block in the Queensland University of Technology Creative Industries Precinct from April 16 – 26 presents pure data as a medium of artistic expression. The works switch between analogue and digital and is generated by data gathered from sources as different as war and the weather and as similar as crowdsourcing and social media. The data is a dynamic field that drives new forms and shapes.
