The arts sector is looking to Budget Day to confirm the promises of Creative Australia.


When then Minister for the Arts Simon Crean announced the National Cultural Policy on 14 March, the sector was thrilled with the prospect of $235 million in various packages, including $60 million in new grants funds through the Australia Council, $15 million for ‘unfunded excellence’ and new education, Indigenous and collections programs.
