Development grants now open for NSW artists with disabilities

Accessible Arts, an organisation promoting equal opportunities for artists with disabilities in New South Wales has today opened applications for their Amplify your art grant. The professional development grant will award successful applicants $5,000 to $10,000 for costs associated with developing their professional practice.

Programs are designed to help disabled artists no matter their preferred and practiced form. Previous recipients have participated in skills development projects in a variety of art forms including poetry, sculptures, ceramics, dance, music, digital media and print-making. The professional development program will include training, research, residencies, secondments, creative development and skills enhancement. The grant will cover all of this plus travel expenses.
