Australian Ballerina Kirsty Martin has announced that she will retire.

The dancer, now 35, has performed countless leading roles, ranging from the iconic Odette in Swan Lake and Hollywood starlet Raymonda, in a ballet of the same name. Her final performance will be in the extravagant Merry Widow, which opened in Melbourne on Thursday.
