Art and Design sales relaunched at Sotheby’s

Chinese ceramics, European furniture, glass and silver are on the agenda at the prestigious auction house’s 2014 sales.

The number of Art & Design sales at Sotheby’s will be expanded from two to three this year with the first sale offering a total of 348 lots with an estimated value of $1.7 to $2.5 million. Commencing on 15 April, the sale will feature a selection of Chinese ceramics, furniture, and Australian and European paintings and sculpture, beginning with property from The Mrs Gayle Rivkin Collection.
