One of the most fulfilling experiences as an artist is to find like minded individuals who can breathe life into your artistic vision. Anouk van Dijk has done exactly this. The award winning Dutch choreographer, dancer and current Artistic Director of Melbourne dance company Chunky Move has teamed up with the Malthouse Theatre alongside an impressive list of collaborators to produce 247 Days, a stripped back investigation into human dynamics against the shifting backdrop of Australian landscapes.

‘The idea of the show was born when I arrived in Australia – I didn’t know what I would be doing or thinking in terms of 247 Days from the very moment of my arrival, however I thought the concept in itself would be an interesting opportunity to explore different angles,’ van Dijk says.
