The CAL Connections project is seeking essays from emerging writers from marginalised or under-represented backgrounds.
In an effort to foster greater editorial diversity in Overland, the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund (CAL) has teamed up with the prestigious literary journal to give voice to unheard writers.
Over a four-year period, beginning with issue 203, Overland has been publishing essays from writers that fall outside the mainstream, including queer, women, African, non-English speaking background, and Muslim writers.
