$150,000 OzCo grant for Merrigong Theatre Company

The Wollongong-based company will receive $50,000 annually, earmarked for independent productions, for the next three years.

Independent theatremakers in the Illawarra region of New South Wales have received a boost thanks to a recent decision by the Australia Council’s Theatre Assessment Panel.

Merrigong Theatre Company, which manages Wollongong’s Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, is one of four organisations to have received $150,000 Program Presenter funding over three years.
