$150,000 Boost for Melbourne Film Festival

A $150,000 increase of funding will keep Melbourne International Film Festival equipment up to date to maintain the city's status as a culture capitals around the world.

Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) has received a $150,000 boost in funding to ensure the festival is equipped with up to date exhibition equipment for the 2012 festival.

An additional $17,500 through Tourism Victoria’s Events Program will be used to entice more international and national attendees.
