The political campaigns are finally underway for the NSW election on 26 March but few seem to think anything either party says is going to make one lick of difference. Every poll seems to be predicting a massive routing of the Labor government and a win for the Liberal-National coalition. The level of vitriol and disillusion of the NSW Labor government and of the electoral process seems unprecedented. In such a charged atmosphere will the campaigning on either side even consider issues affecting the Arts? Or will the change of government make any substantive difference to the Arts?
