Tapestry of stories to reclaim mining hole

Reclaim the Void is a nation-wide project that unites the power of art and community for site rehabilitation.

Born from a conversation with Ngalia elders in Leonora (WA), Reclaim the Void has been gaining traction nationwide to gather thousands of rag-rugs into a tremendous artwork that will cover one of the gaping mining holes on Country.

The project was initiated when Vivienne Robertson, now Creative Director of Reclaim the Void, took a trip to Leonora with British land artist Chris Drury.
