Few visual artists make big money in Australia – or anywhere. According to the Bureau of Statistics only 24% of those who define themselves as visual artists earn more than $40,000.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t make a career for yourself as a visual artist. It just means you need to leverage every opportunity on the way.
