The Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List recognises 992 Australians (198 fewer than last year). Within that, there were 669 people acknowledged in the General Division (aka your OAM, AO, AC etc), with the balance awarded to Military and as Meritorious awards.
Of those 669 (by our count), 61 are from within the arts and culture sector (or 9%), most are patrons who have keenly supported the sector, or community arts workers. That is a drop from 77 last year.
