One of 53 entries to the Bald Archy Awards this year: Isopter (Termite-White Ant) by Marty Steel.

Queensland’s supply of world-class songwriters were evident at the recent Queensland Music Awards (QMA) where a range of talented musicians picked up awards across a variety of categories.

Celebrated recipients include Brisbane’s ethereal pop artist Clea, whose song ‘Dreaming’ was awarded the coveted 2019 Song of the The Year. Joining Queensland greats, Clea will receive a plaque in Brisbane’s Valley Walk of Fame to honour the achievement as well as a $20,000 promotional prize from Nova 106.5 and TheMusic.com.au.
