$628,000 for 50 projects funded by Regional Arts Fund Community Grants

50 projects across five states have received support through the Regional Arts Fund, including 10 First Nations projects.

The latest round of the Regional Arts Fund Community Grants program will support 50 projects across regional, remote and rural Australia, including Indigenous art, sculptures, installations, dance performances, textiles, literature and theatre.

Community capacity building initiatives and professional development opportunities for regionally-based artists and arts workers have also been supported.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and was awarded the status of Melbourne Fringe Living Legend in 2017.
