Performing arts companies the real winners at Walsh Bay

Performing arts companies will get new homes but there's no gallery and less temporary exhibition space at Australia's newest cultural precinct under the Walsh Bay Precinct Master Plan released by Arts NSW.

The Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australian Theatre for Young People, and Bell Shakespeare will take up home on Pier 2/3 as part of the new Master Plan to develop the currently under utilised venue, while Wharf 4/5 will be expanded to better accommodate Bangarra Dance Theatre and add The Song Company, Gondwana Choirs and Sydney Philharmonia.
