Professional Development Manager (Part‑Time 0.8 FTE)

At Musica Viva Australia, we believe in a music‑rich future for every child. We’re looking for a passionate Professional Development Manager to help bring that vision to life by inspiring teachers across Australia through high‑quality music education.

In this senior education role, you’ll lead national teacher professional development for Musica Viva Australia in Schools, blending creativity, curriculum expertise and collaboration. You’ll design and deliver impactful online and face‑to‑face learning experiences, support presenters nationally, and contribute to the development of engaging education resources linked to live performance.

If you’re an experienced music educator who loves working with teachers, artists and creative teams — and wants to make a real national impact — we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll Bring:

  • Extensive experience as a specialist music educator

  • Confidence delivering professional learning (online and in person)

  • Strong writing, facilitation and project management skills

  • A passion for curriculum‑aligned, inclusive music education
