OPPORTUNITY 

This 3 month contract role supports the delivery of Development events as part of the Carriageworks Winter program, including opening nights, VIP and donor events, partner activations, private functions, and associated food and beverage operations. 

Working closely with the Sponsorships Manager and wider Events, Production, FOH, and Box Office teams, you will help ensure seamless event delivery and exceptional experiences for VIP guests, donors, partners, and stakeholders. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Support planning and coordination of Development events, including VIP functions, opening nights, and private hosting 
  • Assist with preparation of event briefs, run sheets, and operational requirements across production, FOH, and technical teams 
  • Coordinate guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and VIP communications with internal teams 
  • Support food and beverage planning and delivery, including supplier liaison, orders, invoicing, and on-site operations 
  • Assist in the delivery of partner activations, including coordination of bump-in/bump-out and on-ground support 
  • Provide hands-on event support including set-up, pack-down, guest welcome, and real-time troubleshooting 
  • Ensure smooth, professional delivery of all Development events 

 

About you 

  • Experience in events, hospitality, venue operations, or arts/cultural programming 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Confident working with stakeholders including VIPs, partners, and suppliers 
  • Calm, solutions-focused approach in live event environments 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on operational tasks 
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
